The Oberoi Beach Resort, Bali

This is our second time at the Oberoi as our first experience was so beautiful, calming and most enjoyable. Like most nice things you pay for it but there is something about this understated private resort in the heart of Seminyak. You immediately feel you're in Bali with its traditional thatched bure style accommodation, beach sunsets by the pool, rare to come by expansive tropical garden setting (with playful little squirrels), and warm attentive service, you instantly find your zen. The pool is preciously the right temperature, the small complimentary refreshing poolside treats come just at the right time and we discovered on Fridays they do a rotisserie lunch by the pool....the chicken on this occasion was yum! Big thank you for late checkout and transfer service to airport. And for the surprise little birthday cake for my husband's 60th on arrival, nice touch team Oberoi.

Right from the time we entered the hotel premises we were made to genuinely feel welcome by all the staff. Every single staff member we encountered from reception to wait staff to gardeners and cleaners all took exceptional pride in their work and the fact the worked at the Oberoi, they always had a smile on their faces and went out of their way to deliver exceptional service. Our room was exceptionally well appointed and very well maintained as were all parts of the property we saw. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time by the pool whilst smaller than most was still large enough to enjoy and was not crowded and right beside the beach so had a stunning view.

I recently stayed at this resort in Bali, and I can confidently say it was one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. The location was stunning and the facilities were excellent, but what truly set this place apart was the staff. From the moment I arrived, every single person I interacted with was incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Whether it was the front desk team, housekeeping, restaurant staff, or security, everyone went out of their way to make me feel welcome and taken care of. You could tell they weren’t just doing a job — they truly cared about the guests and it showed in every small detail. Their kindness and professionalism turned a great trip into an unforgettable one. If you’re looking for a place in Bali that combines beautiful surroundings with world-class service, this resort should be at the top of your list. I’ll absolutely be coming back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Oberoi, and it exceeded my expectations. The location is fantastic, providing easy access to the vibrant life of Seminyak while still offering a peaceful resort setting. The service was exceptional—the staff went above and beyond. This hotel is the perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking to unwind amidst the hustle and bustle of the area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable stay in Seminyak!

Breakfast was nice however some years ago when we stayed they had white table cloths on the table for breakfast and this was missing this time. Main restaurant was nice with good food but a bit overpriced.
